  : the location is in the city center which is convenient but the street outside is noisy and busy.
  : We reserved for a room a month ago but when we arrived they told us one of our rooms has "problem" and there's no other room for us. It was very inconvenient since we will have to separate in different hostels. When I trace back the reviews from others I found it happens quite frequently and it's super frustrating. (and they ACTED "sorry")Don't expect for the breakfast, it's super simple and even without cup of water or drink.The employees were chatting loudly and smoking in the lobby. One of the employees even sleeps on the sofa of the lobby and his alarm clock rings continuously very early in the morning (6am) and it can be clearly heard in the rooms.They didn't provide shower gel and shampoo as mentioned, and there're only two hairdryers for all. Don't expect them to offer you one when you're in need. The bathroom is very small and no wet room inside so when you take a shower, everything inside can be wet, including the toilet paper. There's one towel short when we arrive so I don't know if they really pay attention to that. The window in our room facing the street couldn't be closed entirely, let alone locking it.The employees act nice to you and Marco is always joking around, I joked back with him but he's really not a decent host. He told me the credit card machine is broken in order not to let me pay with my card, I argued with him several times and he finally told me that he's going to borrow the machine from another hostel, but when I'm paying he's taking out his own machine and the receipt I got is also printed with HOSTGRAM. He charged me more than I should pay, I didn't argue with him since it's only a small amount.For the PCR test, he told us he can fo it for free but we declined since Jordan is quite strict with it. We paid him a lot but still got a FAKE one (and it's too late when we found out). So please be careful with everything happening here.

  : The property is located in the heart of downtown Cairo. There are a handful of places to eat nearby and easy walking distance to the Egyptian Museum and Cairo Tower. Most importantly Marco and his staff was very helpful in help us with arranging airport pickup and drop off. Also a nice breakfast was served.
  : Windows did not have screens, a lot of flies and mosquitoes fly in at night.

  : A transfer from the airport was reliable - as agreed in advance with a driver pick-up at arrivals, quick response via WhatsApp (at least before arrival). Free upgrade from a dbl to a tripple room offered by booking.com at time of making reservation. Location right in downtown, walking distance to Egyptian museum and shops and restaurants.
  : You don't expect much of a private hostel room, but it was extremely disappointing. Judging by the hotel pictures we expected it to be much nicer. The floor was dusty, your white socks will immediately get brown. We asked our manager Marco (receptionist or the owner?) for a mop that we'd rather clean it ourselves, but it was so filthy I had to first wash it for good 15 minutes! And he didn't give us a bucket with it.There was mould in the bathroom around all wall bases, and USED toilet paper by previous guests in the rubbish bin next to the toilet seat, which was totally disgusting!The room was facing a main street, and the door to the balcony had gaps after you closed it, so it was very noisy and dusty, so no point of having the balcony that we'd thought would be a bonus...The free breakfast was pretty basic and in hostels you don't expect much, but we were not offered neither water or juice. Nor hot drinks like tea unless we specifically asked!According to reviews Marco was meant to be extremely nice and helpful so that's why we went for this. But in reality he wasn't all that nice. I travelled a lot and trust me I know what it is when someone is helpful and super-friendly! He started to be pushy on WhatsApp about tours before arrival on our 3-night stay, but we wanted to organise it in person at hotel. But on our arrival and next morning he wasn't there and the other guy didn't speak English, so we went to pyramids ourselves by Uber without a tour, which proved to be more relaxing and quite cheap. When I asked in person about what to do/see around city the next evening, he spent literally 5 seconds telling place names I could hardly recognise, without him saying what's there or where it is! When I asked again he pretended to message someone, and showed no interest giving out any info, so we gave up. He simply WASN'T being any extra useful to our trip!

  : The location was very nice, right in downtown, subway close by. Besides, the owner responded to my needs, he let me change my room to a bigger one and I got free breakfast. Strong WiFi!
  : In the main area it was a bit dark. I actually expected to have a balcony within the room. And I had to pay more as it was shown on booking.com. Because taxes were not included! Maybe I didn't see this notification on booking.com. But usually I always just pay what is said on Booking.com. Maybe it's an Egyptian thing?
